Se vuol ballare

W. A. Mozart

For tuba and piano

Figaro has just found out that the Count has his eye on Susanna, Figaro’s bride, and vows to beat him at his own game: a polite little minuet with a mocking smile that flares into an angry Presto and back. The opera comes from Beaumarchais’s play, which Emperor Joseph II had banned from the Vienna stage.
