W. A. Mozart
Figaro’s aria that closes Act 1 of The Marriage of Figaro: he teases the young page Cherubino, packed off to the army, that his days of flirting are over, and it marches out like a military send-off. Mozart quoted the tune himself in Don Giovanni’s dinner scene, played by the onstage wind band.
